Yanks get giant win

Today the New York Yankees defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 17-6 at Yankee Stadium. Randy Johnson did not pitch that effectively today, it seems he goes back and forth between good and bad starts. But it didn't matter, because the offense came up huge to give him the win anyway. It was also an historical game, because it was only the 2nd time in yankees history, and the 1st time since 1939 that the yankees scored in all 8 innings. New York is now 12-10 in the AL East, and they were only a 1/2 game behind Boston until the red sox beat the devil rays in the 9th. Still, we are just 1 game from 1st place, and there are 140 games to be played, so we are doing fine. There will be 1 more game against the blue jays tomorrow, and then it's off to Boston for a 2 game set starting Monday.
