2 Amazing Comebacks

It's been a little while since I've posted, but I'll post again now. Since I last posted, the yankees were down to the rangers 9-0 at one point in a game, then 10-1, however they roared back and won it with a Posada walkoff 2 run homer. This happened when they were down to their last out. Today, the yankees came back again, just 2 outs from losing to the mets in the middle of this subway series. After Pedro Martinez pitched very well for most of the game, Billy Wagner gave up 3 runs to make it a 1 run game. Johnny Damon then hit a ground ball that looked like it would be a game ending double play, but he outran it, and the yankees tied the game. They won 5-4 in the 11th on a single by Andy Phillips. The yankees' record is now at 24-17. It could be better, but they have to fight harder with Matsui and Sheffield missing from the lineup. Tomorrow is the rubber match of the first subway series at Shea Stadium. Aaron Small will face Tom Glavine. It looks like we'll need our hitters to get a lot of hits to win tomorrow. Let's hope they can do it.
